The Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary is located approximately 40 km from Valle de Bravo, in this beautiful place of pines and oaks every year millions of Monarch Butterflies arrive that travel around 4,000 km from Canada to breed in the State of Mexico and its surroundings.

 

Unique in its kind, this ecological reserve is formed by a beautiful forest full of Oyameles, Pines and a large amount of vegetation, where a large quantity of species of flora and fauna endemic to the region.

 

It has more than 11,409 hectares, full of beautiful rivers, trees, vegetation & nbsp; and it is a magnificent place to enjoy the nature, rest admiring its beautiful landscapes, breathe fresh air and of course be able to observe this incredible phenomenon that only occurs in Mexico during the months of November to March and we will enjoy the majestic Monarch Butterfly.
